What Is the Procedure for Getting Botox®?
Your appointment begins with a consultation to discuss your concerns, treatment goals, and medical history. After evaluating your facial anatomy, your provider will determine the appropriate injection sites and dosage.
The treatment itself takes only a few minutes. Using a very fine needle, Botox® is carefully injected into specific muscles with minimal discomfort. There is no downtime, and most patients return to their normal daily activities immediately after their appointment. Results typically begin to appear within 3 to 7 days, with full effects visible after about two weeks and lasting approximately 3 to 4 months.
